IT Graduate Trainees
AAR Healthcare is a prominent provider of outpatient healthcare services in East Africa with 31 Outpatient Centres and growing, as well as an Emergency Rescue Unit. We serve over 700,000 clients annually from various medical insurance providers and non-insurance sectors, addressing the healthcare needs of diverse communities. We are currently looking for candidates who demonstrate a high degree of commitment, leadership, flexibility, and initiative to fill the following vacancy:
The overall purpose of the job:
- To assist in providing first-line support for all IT-related operations and issues, and assigns appropriately promptly.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and coordinating IT service desk requests from users and provide timely feedback on all requests.
- Assist in maintaining an up-to-date inventory of all IT assets and IT documentation.
- Assist in developing tools, procedures and training sessions for operation and user support.
- Assist in generating weekly and monthly IT service desk reports, IT assets inventory reports and IT project reports.
Position requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or IT-related discipline.
- Software and hardware support
- Knowledge of Programming PHP, Python, Java
- Knowledge of databases eg Postgres SQL, Microsoft SQL
- Good customer service and people skills
- Self-motivated and a team player
- Pleasant personality
- Excellent communication skills
