LAKE VICTORIA NORTH WATER WORKS DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
Lake Victoria North Water Works Development Agency (LVNWWDA) is one of the nine (9) Water Works Development Agencies established under the Water Act, 2016, as part of the reforms in the water sector through Gazette Notice No. 28 dated 26th April, 2019 in compliance with the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
The Agency is mandated by the Act to carry out water and sanitation works in the following counties: Vihiga, Kakamega, Nandi, Bungoma, Trans-Nzoia and Busia.
In line with the need to realize our mandate, the Agency seeks to recruit suitable candidates to be deployed in the following project sites to ensure effective and successful implementation of water and sanitation projects:
- Mosongo / Kibuga / Suwerwa Water Projects – Trans-Nzoia County
- Bungoma Cluster Projects (Luuya-Bwake, KOICA-Chwele & Namninge Dam Water Projects) – Bungoma County
- Kabiet–Kaiboi Water Project – Nandi County
- Alupe Dam Water Project – Busia County
The projects shall be implemented within a period of 1–2 years. However, subject to satisfactory performance, successful candidates may be converted to the existing Agency’s terms and conditions of service.
