Consultant, Digital Systems and Reporting

Role Summary

The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI) seeks one exceptional candidate to serve as Consultant, Digital Systems and Reporting. This role is critical to support the Director, Deal Room in designing and the implementation of digital tools for investment pipeline management and deal room operations. 

The position holder will draw on TBI’s broader expertise from within the Kenya country team (e.g. on political economy issues and stakeholder management) and from global teams (e.g. on investment facilitation, industrial policy, energy and climate, trade and infrastructure, etc.). 


Deputy Director, Non-Green Deals

Role Summary

The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI) seeks a motivated and experienced Deputy Director, Non-Green Deals to join its team in Nairobi, Kenya as an embedded advisor to operationalise, and deliver impact for an Investment Acceleration Assignment. The Deal Room is a new flagship initiative, with a mission to accelerate strategic private and public investments that require bespoke government support.  

The Deputy Director Non-Green Deals will play a pivotal role in translating the deal room objectives into actionable plans and implementation frameworks, build and lead a multi-disciplinary delivery team focused on strategic deals facilitation, build a strong coordination culture, oversee accountability and spearhead investment acceleration in Kenya’s pipeline across prioritised sectors and emerging opportunities.  


Deputy Director, Green Deals

Role Summary

The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI) seeks a motivated and experienced Deputy Director, Green Deals to join its team in Nairobi, Kenya as an embedded advisor to operationalise, and deliver impact for an Investment Acceleration Assignment. The Deal Room is a new flagship initiative, with a mission to accelerate strategic private and public investments that require bespoke government support.  

The Deputy Director Green Deals will lead the implementation of Kenya’s green industrialisation and sustainable investment agenda. The person will play a pivotal role in translating the deal room objectives into actionable plans and implementation frameworks, build and lead a multi-disciplinary delivery team focused on unlocking climate aligned strategic deals, build a strong coordination culture and oversee accountability. 


Director, Deal Room

Role Summary

The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI) seeks a motivated and experienced Director, Deal Room to join its team in Nairobi, Kenya as an embedded advisor to operationalise, and deliver impact for an Investment Acceleration Assignment. The Deal Room is a new flagship initiative, with a mission to accelerate strategic private and public investments that require bespoke government support. As its inaugural leader, the holder of this position will play a pivotal role in translating vision into results – setting strategy, building a high-performing team, introducing operational excellence, and delivering value for investors and the Government of Kenya. The position holder will draw on TBI’s broader expertise from within the Kenya country team (e.g. on political economy issues and stakeholder management) and from global teams (e.g. on investment facilitation, industrial policy, energy and climate, trade and infrastructure, etc.).
