Jumbo Chem Kenya Limited is seeking a proactive and dedicated Sales Representative to manage customers and list company products within a specific geographic area. The ideal candidate will excel in prospecting for new clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and driving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management: Identify new sales opportunities in hardware shops and maintain a strong customer base within the assigned territory.
  • Sales Execution: Present and list products in hardware shops.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Market Intelligence: Share market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Planning: Develop and execute a sales plan against the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Internal Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams such as logistics and accounts to ensure smooth order processing, product launches, and successful promotional campaigns.
  • Communication: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: At least 3 years of successful sales experience in trade. Experience handling hardware shops and dealers is an added advantage.
  • Education: A basic degree or diploma in Sales & Marketing or a business-related field is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM software.
  • Performance: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships, handle complaints, and work collaboratively with others. Confirmed by immediate past direct report.
