Job Objective: The Junior Project Manager supports the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing network infrastructure and service delivery projects. The role focuses on documentation, tracking, communication, and coordination to ensure smooth project execution.
Reporting Line: Programme Manager
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Project Support & Execution
- Support the full execution of projects, ensuring timely completion
- Support preparation of project charters, plans, risk logs, and reports.
- Track milestones and follow up with internal teams.
- Update project tools including NetSuite and MS Project.
- Assist with logistics planning and vendor coordination.
- End to end execution of simple projects
2. Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Prepare meeting agendas and status updates.
- Capture minutes and action points.
- Handle routine client communication under supervision.
- Escalate risks and issues to the PM.
3. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Support coordination with Engineering, Operations, Legal, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance.
- Track vendor deliverables and verify SLA compliance.
- Process & Performance Improvement
- Ensure adherence to project governance processes.
- Support vendor & logistics management.
- Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Telecoms, Business, or related field.
- CAPM or PRINCE2 Foundation (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office; willingness to learn MS Project.
- Proficiency in NetSuite (preferred)
- Strong command of English.
Experience & Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in Telecoms, IT, engineering, or project coordination.
- Familiarity with network technologies, including Subsea, OTN, DWDM, SDH, Fibre and Data (Ethernet, IP/MPLS, OSPF, BGP), is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
