Learning and Development is responsible for designing and implementing learning strategies, managing training programs, and enhancing employee skills and knowledge.
KEY ROLES
- Learning & Development
- Design and implement training programs, learning modules, and staff orientation. Collaborate with managers to identify skill gaps and career aspirations.
- Curate and publish a year-round learning calendar aligned with business strategy. Research best practices and lead the design of innovative learning programs. Evaluate effectiveness of learning initiatives and report on impact.
- Performance Management
- Lead and coordinate the company’s performance management process. Track employee and departmental performance before/after training.
- Promote performance conversations and structured improvement plans. Develop and implement a “Lintons Stars” program to groom top performers.
- Support succession planning in collaboration with HR leadership.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Degree in HRM (postgraduate and retail industry background an advantage).
- Membership: Must be a member of IHRM.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in Human Resources Development/training (preferably retail).
