About the Department

Deloitte’s Consulting Services excels in delivering innovative solutions through Strategy, Risk & Transactions (SRT) and Technology & Transformation (T&T). SR&T advises clients on how to create and protect value –this offering is designed to help organisations navigate complex business transformations, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic growth initiatives. T&T combines deep industry knowledge with cutting-edge technology to deliver tailored solutions that drive innovation, enhance efficiency, and foster sustainable growth. Together, these consulting services help clients navigate complex challenges and achieve their strategic goals.

The main focus areas under Risk which is broadly referred to as Risk, Regulatory and Forensic include:  

  • Enterprise Risk: Our unique suite of offerings, network of industry specialists and world-class approach to managing enterprise and ecosystem risk help businesses build resiliency, uncover strategic opportunities, foster innovation and agility in the face of challenges.
  • Regulatory & Financial Risk: Working with our worldwide team of industry specialists, we help organisations navigate regulatory challenges, optimise compliance programmes, standardise processes and reduce financial risk through targeted Data analysis, modelling and risk transformation.
  • Forensic and Financial Crime: To address issues related to financial crime, fraud and corporate misconduct, our team of specialist’s support organisations through discovery, fact-finding, business disputes and regulatory matters.

Job Description

Main purpose of the job

The holder of this position will ensure that Enterprise Risk assignments are carried out to the highest standards in order to provide outstanding value to clients and the Firm; develop high-performing people and teams, leading and supporting them to make an impact that matters; and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service.

What you will do

  • Marketing and execution of Enterprise Risk, Compliance Reviews, Governance and Business Resilience engagements.
  • Leading team members in project planning, execution and preparing client deliverables.
  • Compiling and providing insights to aid clients in their decision making.
  • Employing a structured approach to project management to ensure complete client satisfaction and project profitability.
  • Development of client presentations/discussions documentation.
  • Building an in-depth knowledge of client’s business, and staying up to date on industry activities, marketplace trends, and leading practices.
  • Gathering information to understand broader offerings of Deloitte and seek opportunities for cross selling.
  • Develop your expertise in a specialization and your reputation as a business advisor,
  • Contribute to the practice growth and development,
  • Supporting in the management of engagement budgets, work-in-process, and billings.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to their highest potential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting.
  • At least 6 years’ relevant working experience.
  • Experience in financial risk will be an added advantage.
  • Relevant professional qualifications in risk management, financial crime or business continuity preferred.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in project and engagement management with the ability to manage multiple engagements concurrently.  
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship and client management skills.
  • Proven proposal writing / Business development skills.
  • Proven team leadership experience. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Collaborative, agile, and able to deal with complexity and consult appropriately where needed.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
