Mechanic

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Mechanic to oversee the maintenance, servicing, and repair of our vehicle fleet. The ideal candidate will be skilled in diagnosing mechanical faults, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all vehicles remain in top working condition. Key Responsibilities;

• Diagnose, repair, and service vehicles to maintain peak operating condition.
• Conduct routine inspections and promptly report any faults or issues.
• Ensure all mechanical work is performed efficiently and to quality standards.
• Prepare and provide accurate cost estimates and work reports.
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs, servicing, and maintenance activities.
• Keep garage equipment and tools in safe and usable condition at all times.
• Collaborate with supervisors to address mechanical needs and resolve defects.
• Uphold company safety standards and operational policies.
• Maintain accurate logs of work performed and issues identified.

Minimum job requirements;

• Degree or Diploma in Automotive Engineering or its equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a reputable garage.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills with knowledge of modern automotive systems.
• Must have a valid driving license.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
