About the Role
We are seeking MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) domain experts with demonstrated experience working with US construction documentation and standards to support high-accuracy annotation and data preparation for construction product and document intelligence workflows.
This is a desk-based analytical role focused on interpreting US-region technical documentation and extracting structured data with precision.
What You’ll Do
Review and interpret:
- Product models, SKUs, variants, families
- Manufacturer and distributor product data
- Construction documents (specifications, data sheets, plans, schedules)
Accurately extract and validate:
- Model numbers
- Manufacturers
- Technical attributes
- Performance specifications
- Catalog references
Work with:
- Technical catalogs and data sheets
- Lind drawings and plans
- Construction schedules and bid documents
- BIM-related documentation
Conduct independent research using:
- Manufacturer websites
- Distributor platforms
- Construction reference resources
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- 1 to 3 years of experience in one of the following:
- MEP design or consultancy
- MEP product sales or technical specification roles
- Technical documentation or engineering support
- Experience working with US construction documentation, including one or more of:
- US specifications (CSI MasterFormat)
- US electrical standards (NEC)
- ASHRAE standards
- UL listings and compliance references
- US HVAC or plumbing product documentation
- US-based project plans and schedules
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and components, technical documentation formats, product specifications and engineering attributes
- High attention to detail and structured analytical thinking
Preferred:
- Prior experience in technical or domain-specific annotation
- Exposure to AI/ML data preparation or structured data validation
