JOB PURPOSE
The job holder is responsible for driving the digital communications strategy of SBS by creating, managing, and curating impactful visual and written content that strengthens the brand presence across digital platforms. This includes producing high-quality photography and videography, managing social media engagement, and ensuring consistent, brand-focused messaging. The position also oversees information and asset management, ensuring that content is culturally sensitive, aspirational, and aligned with strategic priorities, while continuously monitoring performance to enhance visibility, engagement, and impact.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementing a digital strategy for SBS through planned videography and photography in line with the strategic pillars.
- Maintain, update, and grow SBS’s social media presence of digital media. This includes creating engaging and impactful content and ensuring that messaging is brand-focused, timely and engaging.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of SBS’s digital work putting together analytics reports for our performance on digital platforms.
- Produce photographs and video clips for international and local audiences; demonstrate cultural awareness, social sensitivity and respect for privacy when interviewing and working with affected populations.
- Facilitate new directions and initiatives with the department, including preparations, editing, exchanging information, and working on teams.
- Create a strong gallery of aspirational images and video content which will be used to reflect the brand in marketing and press.
- Contribute to shaping the visual storyline of content touchpoints while assisting in maintaining the brand’s digital asset library.
- Maintain daily asset management and obtain all creative and marketing objectives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- The post holder will be required to have and demonstrate evidence of the following qualifications, attributes, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, and any other related fields
- Minimum of 2years’ relevant experience.
- Professional qualifications in videography and photography.

- Proficiency in handling a DSLR camera.
- Proficiency in Adobe suite: Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition.
