1. Locum Doctors – Eldoret Region
Overall Purpose of the Job:
To provide high-quality clinical services in a cost-effective and customer-friendly manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine, diagnose, and treat patients as per Standard Treatment Guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Conduct health promotion activities, including health talks.
- Engage clients and provide required support.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
- Registered with the Medical and Dentists Board.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a practicing medical doctor.
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
- Pleasant personality and self-motivated.
2. Locum Nurses – Coast Region
Overall Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Nurse-in-Charge, the role involves providing quality nursing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient triaging.
- Administration of medicine and clinical procedures.
- Patient management.
- Implementation of infection prevention measures.
- Clinical data entry.
- Management of nursing tools and equipment.
Position Requirements:
- Diploma in Nursing.
- Valid practicing license from the Nursing Council.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a practicing nurse.
- Technical proficiency in nursing procedures.
- ICT competency.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.

3. Locum Pharmaceutical Technologists – Nakuru, Kisumu, Coast, Thika Road & Eldoret Regions
Overall Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Pharmacy-in-Charge, the role involves reviewing prescriptions and dispensing medication accurately to ensure effective patient treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prescription validation, verification, and dispensing.
- Pharmacy inventory management.
- Preparation of required reports.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
Position Requirements:
- Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical operations.

4. Locum Laboratory Technologists – Nakuru, Kisumu, Coast, Eastlands, Thika Road & Eldoret Regions
Overall Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Health Centre Manager, the incumbent will perform laboratory-based scientific investigations for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Registration, collection, and processing of samples.
- Communication of laboratory results.
- Maintain quality laboratory practices.
- Preparation of laboratory reports.
- Participation in internal QC programmes and proper record-keeping.
Position Requirements:
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Valid registration with KMLTTB.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in laboratory functions.
- ICT competency.

5. Locum Health Centre Receptionists – Nakuru, Coast & Thika Road Regions
Overall Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Health Centre Manager, the role supports administrative duties and efficient front-office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient registration and verification of medical benefits.
- Management of client appointments.
- Billing and revenue collection.
- Preparation of periodic reports.
- Requisition and petty cash management.
- Maintaining a pleasant front-office environment.
Position Requirements:
- Diploma in a business-related course.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in front office/reception operations.

6. Locum General Assistants – Nakuru & Eldoret Regions
Overall Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Nurse-in-Charge, the role involves providing essential office and support services at the outpatient centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen inventory and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and support general office duties.
- Implement infection prevention and control measures.
- Prepare refreshments.
- Perform general errands.
- Monitor facility supplies and report restocking needs.
Position Requirements:
- KCSE certificate and certificate in housekeeping or related field.
- Knowledge of housekeeping, basic math, and fire safety.
- Minimum of 6 months’ housekeeping experience.
- Food handling certification.
- ICT proficiency.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
