What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in setting up or scaling pharmacy operations.
- Strong operational, workflow, and process management skills.
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate pharmacy teams.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with:
- Insurance providers
- Brokers
- Pharmaceutical suppliers and distributors
- Experience with e-pharmacy or digital pharmacy workflows (highly desirable).
- Current understanding of Kenyan pharmacy regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the setup, optimization, and daily running of pharmacy operations.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, inventory accuracy, and quality assurance.
- Coordinate with insurers, brokers, and suppliers to enhance service delivery.
- Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, driving workflow and performance improvements.
- Support digital pharmacy operations, including:
- e-prescriptions
- Virtual consultation fulfillment
- Order processing
- Medication delivery workflows
- Provide clinical pharmaceutical guidance where necessary.
- Contribute to new pharmacy service innovations and expansion initiatives.
