Planning Data Analyst

About the role

BURN is actively seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our planning department, playing a crucial role in optimizing our production processes and ensuring seamless alignment with global production goals.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering and maintaining accurate data related to production schedules, inventory levels, and order information. Their role extends to ensuring data integrity, promptly resolving discrepancies, and supporting inventory management activities by tracking stock levels and generating reports.

This position presents an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to make a significant impact on our operational efficiency and contribute to the ongoing success of BURN.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in entering and maintaining accurate data related to production schedules, inventory levels, and order information.
  • Ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Extract meaningful insights and trends to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment with global production goals.
  • Document processes, workflows, and key findings to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
  • Support inventory management activities, including tracking stock levels and generating reports.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies between physical and recorded inventory.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate documentation of production schedules, workflows, and relevant processes.
  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production scheduling.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 4 years of proven experience as a business Analyst, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Knowledge of production planning and scheduling methodologies is desirable.
