The Opportunity
Plan International is seeking a Project and Programme Management Specialist to strengthen project management processes across the Middle East and Southern Africa (MEESA) region.
This strategic and hands-on role will focus on building a strong project management culture within the organisation by:
- Conducting assessments and training sessions.
- Developing policies, procedures, and guidance to enhance program quality and innovation.
- Supporting Country Offices in delivering consistent, impactful, and sustainable results.
You will work within the Global Hub Project and Funds team and collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders across different regions.
The Ideal Candidate
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience managing INGO programmes at both strategic and operational levels.
- Strong skills in developing global procedures and guidance for programme and project management.
- A background in capacity building—both in-person and remotely.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A collaborative, proactive, and results-driven mindset with the ability to influence and engage across teams.

Location
The position is flexible and may be based in any country where Plan International has an office and can employ on behalf of the Global Hub.
You must have the right to work and live in your preferred location. Remote or hybrid work options are available.

Some travel may be required for this role.
Contract Details
Type of Role: 2-Year Fixed-Term Contract
Reports to: Head of Projects and Funds
Salary: Competitive, based on the candidate’s location (details shared during the recruitment process).
