Position Summary

We are currently looking for a Quality & Risk Management Associate who will play a role in providing risk management services and

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and conducting of compliance review programs together with any reporting thereof.
  • Carrying out due diligence studies on regulatory/compliance and other reviews as required by clients.
  • Conducting general and specific market research as required by clients and/or to provide background information.
  • Responding to general queries from Business Units relating to projects and tasks.
  • Maintain good business relationship with other internal business units to achieve desired objectives of the department and the firm.
  • Any other tasks that will be assigned to you.

Academic/Professional qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in laws or a business-related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a busy legal, compliance or regulatory environment. Exposure to risk management-related work is an added advantage.

Personal attributes:

  • Good communication (written and verbal), numeracy, presentation and analytical skills.
  • IT proficiency, especially Microsoft Office
  • An eye for detail
  • Team player with leadership capability
  • Excellent coordination and planning skills
  • Multicultural skills to operate across diverse African jurisdictions.
  • Resilience, tenacity, and the ability to handle difficult client conversations.
  • Comfort with multitasking, flexibility, open-mindedness, and the ability to make quick decisions.
