Receptionist/Customer Service Intern
Sanlam Allianz Investments Ltd (SAIL) is a leading fund manager in the region with a strong record of accomplishment in service delivery and performance. We are seeking to recruit a proactive individual to assist in managing the reception area and support client service as a Receptionist/Customer Service Intern in our Kenya office. The internship is on a short term basis.
Reporting to the Senior Client Service Officer, the successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
- Ensure a professional welcome for clients and visitors, manage incoming calls efficiently and assist with key front‑office functions
- Assist with basic client enquiries on unit trusts, fund information, statements, and KYC requirements.
- Offer administrative assistance and handle meeting room coordination.
- Support the preparation of proposals, client documentation
- Assist the team with travel planning and booking tasks when required
- Maintain the reception area and support general office operations.
- Adhere to Company policies including internal and external polices, risk, compliance and regulatory standards.
- Any other responsibilities as documented in your performance objectives and as may be assigned and communicated from time to time.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors Degree
- At least 1 year experience or internship in a similar role in the financial sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and customer‑service orientation.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Interest in investments, asset management, or unit trusts is an added advantage.
