Our client, a medium-sized and growing sacco based in Nairobi, seeks an experienced Sacco Manager to lead their sacco towards next level growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of a community-based sacco committed to serving its members with integrity and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inspiring strategic leadership aligned with Sacco’s mission and values to propel sustainable growth.
- Oversee daily operations to maximize operational efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain strong financial stewardship.
- Forge and maintain strong relationships with members, regulators, and other industry stakeholders.
- Champion initiatives aimed at sustainably growing the sacco innovatively.
- Lead and develop a team towards high performance to achieve a shared vision.
- Embed a culture of transparency, accountability, and member-centered service delivery.
- Design member-focused products and provide efficient service-delivery so as to deepen member engagement.
- Advice the Board of directors on strategic initiatives and operational matters while introducing innovative solutions to support growth and efficiency.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Master’s degree and CPA(K) or related qualifications are an added advantage.
- At least 3 years’ working experience as a Sacco manager or in managerial role preferably within the cooperative movement.
- Strong understanding of Sacco governance and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to foster an intrapreneurial culture aligned with strategic objectives
- Solid financial acumen and pragmatic approach to challenges.
- Proficiency in enterprise resource planning systems and an openness to adopting emerging technologies within practical limits.

- Police clearance certificate (Certificate of Good Conduct).
- Clearance certificate from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
