Sales and Marketing Executive
Role Purpose
To provide technical and qualitative support to the Sacco through creating unique business marketing plans and sales analytics and ensuring delivery of targets, sustainably.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and carry out member recruitment as per the Sacco Policies and Strategies.
- Comprehensively and satisfactorily attend to all customers/member’s inquiries and timely answering of emails and calls.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on Unga Sacco Products and Services.
- Create frequent reviews and reports and share with management and board members.
- Ensure the availability of merchandise for effective demonstrations and Driving campaigns on Unga Sacco products.
- Participate on behalf of the Sacco in exhibitions or conferences.
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams/Board Members
- Cross selling and upselling of Unga Sacco products and services to existing and potential members.
- Managing all social media platforms for Unga Sacco and ensure they are up to date.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Sales and Marketing/Business Development from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, brand, product, and service management.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- A minimum of one (1) year working experience in a similar role.
