Job Summary:
CITAM Seeks to recruit born-again Christians who are experienced and self-motivated to fill the position of School Bus Drivers, whose responsibility will be to facilitate safe and timely movement of passengers and ministry assets in accordance with CITAM policies.
The positions reports to the Finance & Administration Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport learners to and from school, adhering to designated routes and schedules.
- To maintain a clean and orderly vehicle and provide exceptional customer service to learners, parents, and school staff.
- Conducting regular safety inspections and reporting any issues or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with learners, parents and school staff regardingtransportation schedules, changes or delays.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations including the proper use of seat belts and other safety equipment.
- Ensure the assigned vehicle is in proper and safe condition.
- To liaise with the Finance & Administration Officer to make sure repairs and servicing of vehicles are carried out on time.
- Maintain accurate daily mileage records, fuel consumption and other relevant information.
Requirements
- Must be born-again, mature Christians who conforms to the CITAM statement of faith.
- A minimum of KCSE or post-secondary education will be an added advantage.
- Valid PSV, driving license with current endorsement for class (Es) of vehicles.
- Minimum of four (4) years bus driving experience in a school setup.
- Valid certificate of good conduct.
- Defensive driving and basic mechanical skills will be an added advantage.
- Good communicator.
- Flexibility to work in other towns within the Country
