Senior Applications Analyst

Role Summary

The Senior Applications Analyst serves a key role in ensuring the reliability, optimization, and continuous improvement of enterprise software within a manufacturing environment. This role acts as the bridge between technical IT infrastructure and core business functions including Supply Chain, Finance, and Quality Assurance to drive operational excellence through systems like SAGE ERP, WMS, and BI tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Optimization & ERP Management: Lead the analysis, configuration, and deployment of ERP modules and business-critical applications. Provide advanced troubleshooting and manage system upgrades, patches, and third-party integrations (CRM, WMS).
  • Data Intelligence & Reporting: Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPI requirements; design and maintain actionable Power BI dashboards to ensure data integrity and informed decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Governance: Partner with cross-functional teams to align system capabilities with compliance needs. Maintain rigorous documentation of workflows and business rules while supporting audit and change control processes.
  • Strategic IT Support: Identify internal IT needs, recommend scalable solutions, and ensure high standards of data confidentiality and system security.

Education, Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Business Information Systems or any related course.
  • Atleast 4 years of experience in software support, ideally within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
  • Proven expertise in ERP systems (SAGE, SAP, or Oracle), SQL, Power BI, and basic system integration.
  • Knowledge of ITIL or structured IT service management (ITSM) practices.
