About the role:

As a Senior  Marketing Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Marketing, Kenya and driving the success of our marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for executing marketing strategies, managing campaigns, and creating engaging content that resonates with our target audience.The role requires a seasoned communicator who understands how to position a brand for impact and consistency. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing, Kenya, deputizing them in leadership functions, while overseeing and guiding  Digital Marketer and Graphic Designer to ensure brand coherence across all channels.

You will be the brand custodian—owning how we communicate, how we’re perceived, and how our story connects with diverse audiences. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay ahead of emerging branding, design, and digital trends to maintain brand relevance and market differentiation.
  • Implement the brand communication strategy.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, content marketing, and events, in line with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Create high-quality marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, presentations, and social media graphics, adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Identify and qualify leads through online/ social media engagement initiatives
  • Analyze marketing data and reports to identify trends, measure campaign performance, and optimize strategies for better results.
  • Lead and mentor the Digital Marketing and Graphic Design teams, ensuring alignment with the brand vision.
  • Manage the SunCulture website to ensure SEO optimization, track website traffic and social media data analytics
  • Coordinate with other departments such as sales and customer service to ensure alignment and achieve common goals.
  • Stay updated on the latest marketing trends and technologies, and recommend innovative solutions to the Head of Marketing, Kenya
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Head of Marketing, Kenya as needed.

Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in brand communication, marketing, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience guiding or managing creative and digital teams.
  • Strong portfolio of executed marketing and brand communication campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of brand positioning, visual identity, and storytelling.
  • Proficiency in digital tools including social media platforms, analytics tools, content management systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities and a passion for building brands that resonate.
