About The Role
The Ritz-Carlton, Masai Mara Safari Camp invites passionate hospitality professionals to join our Ladies and Gentlemen as a Server – Food & Beverage. Set within one of Africa’s most extraordinary landscapes, this role offers a unique opportunity to deliver refined, world-class service where luxury meets authenticity.
As a Server, you will be instrumental in creating seamless dining experiences that reflect The Ritz-Carlton’s legendary service standards while contributing to exceptional guest satisfaction and outlet performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, professional, and consistent table service in line with The Ritz-Carlton service sequence and brand standards.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of menus, ingredients, allergens, and beverage pairings to confidently guide guest choices.
- Accurately take and process orders using the POS system, ensuring correct billing and payments.
- Anticipate guest needs, conduct timely check-backs, and resolve service issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain immaculate table settings, service stations, and dining areas throughout service periods.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, and service teams to ensure smooth service flow.
- Actively support revenue generation through thoughtful up-selling of menu items, specials, and beverage pairings.
- Adhere strictly to hygiene, safety, grooming, and operational procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a food and beverage service role within a luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong service discipline, attention to detail, and excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash-handling procedures.
- Professional, calm, and team-oriented attitude, even during high-pressure service periods.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
