About the role
The Trade Marketing Manager leads the development, execution, tracking and measurement of all Trade marketing plans into winning programs with customers and shoppers across assigned categories & channels in alignment with brand strategy. Your responsibilities
- Develops and Implements Category and channel trade marketing plans across the country.
- Contributes to category marketing plans, with customer and category analysis and promotional strategy.
- Lead the development and implementation of promotional strategy in line with brand priorities and media plan.
- Responsible for the delivery of the total channel value target
- Design plans to achieve the execution of 4Ps across all sales channels per the Company’s success model.
- Identifies key demand drivers for the category/channel and lead field sales forecast with supply services, finance, consumer marketing and sales operations.
- Study and analyse Nielsen reports and generate insights for the way forward.
- Development, deployment and tracking of Point of Sales Materials (POSM) for all cycle programs or product launches.
- Continuous analysis of the competitive and customer’s position in the country, works together with teams to develop trade marketing actions and strategy aimed at strengthening Reckitt’s position in the category.
- Ensure increase in market share and coverage for focus categories/SKUs planned for the year.
- Responsible for developing appropriate response plans again competitive threats and collaborating with all stakeholders to ensure an excellent execution of the plans.
- Responsible for the effective utilization of POSM and ensuring they are deployed to channels/geographies/stores for maximum impact.
- Responsible for category/channel trade investment management (planning, accruals & deployment) and ensuring ROI on key initiatives. Aligns budget with all stakeholders internally to ensure sufficiency of funding and budget compliance.

- Result oriented – entrepreneurial and self-motivating, good planning, and organizational ability
- Stakeholder management skills – understanding and aligning stakeholder expectations and working towards a common goal to achieve the larger business objective.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Minimum 5+ years of core field sales experience leading teams, executing in channels, and managing distributors and customers.
- Modern Trade Management experience is a must to have for the role
- Strong university degree in business or marketing related course. An MBA is an added advantage.
