”This role offers the opportunity to shape how our CRM platform powers business operations at a crucial growth moment. You’ll build and optimize systems that support thousands of daily customer interactions across multiple African markets, working with talented cross-functional teams including telesales, operations, product managers, and data scientists.”

About Us

We foster a culture where technical excellence meets genuine curiosity about user needs. Our team values discovery-led improvement, collaborative problem-solving, and systems that solve real problems. You’ll be empowered to demonstrate how thoughtful system administration directly contributes to operational efficiency and business success, working at the intersection of technology and business processes.

At M-KOPA, our CRM isn’t just a database—it’s the backbone of our customer relationships and the engine that drives our ability to serve millions of customers across Africa.

In this role, you would be responsible for:

  • Configuring and maintaining the Zoho CRM platform including modules, user setup, profiles, security controls, and workflow automation
  • Partnering with stakeholders to understand their challenges and workflows before implementing solutions
  • Designing and optimizing automated workflows, Blueprints, Deluge functions, and business logic to eliminate manual work
  • Creating custom reports, dashboards, and analytics that provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Developing practical training materials and providing ongoing technical support to end-users
  • Ensuring data integrity, cleanliness, and security while implementing governance policies and quality standards
  • Managing integrations between Zoho CRM and other business systems including WebForms and internal tools
  • Planning and executing system updates from Staging to Production with minimal business disruption
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation that explains not just what was built, but why
  • Monitoring system performance and implementing optimizations to ensure reliability at scale

This is a Hybrid role based in Kenya and if successful, you would be reporting to the Head of Technology at M-KOPA, Mobility.

Your application should demonstrate:

  • 3+ years experience as a CRM System Administrator, preferably with Zoho CRM
  • Strong technical skills in CRM configuration, workflow automation, and system integration
  • Experience with Zoho Deluge scripting, Blueprints, and advanced customization features
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience with data management, governance, and quality assurance practices
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to create meaningful reports and dashboards
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with release management and deploying changes in production environments
  • Problem-solving mindset with genuine curiosity about user needs and business processes
  • Experience with API integrations and webhook configurations
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations and security best practices
  • Experience in fast-growing technology companies or fintech environments is highly desirable
