Brief Job Description:
- To set, operate, and monitor the mineral blocks press machine.
- To perform machine change-overs, adjustments, and minor maintenance.
- To ensure mineral blocks’ accurate weight, hardness, thickness, and appearance as per the set specifications.
- To perform in-process checks on the mineral blocks and document results as per the batch manufacturing records.
- Identify and report the mineral blocks press machine malfunctions or deviations to the production supervisor.
- To follow the Standard operating procedures and Batch manufacturing/ packing records.
- To adhere to cGMP and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the equipment and the production areas at all times.

- Pharmaceutical GMP knowledge is mandatory.
- KCSE, Diploma holder, or equivalent is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience as a mineral blocks’ press machine operator.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and batch manufacturing records.
- Attention to detail and good documentation practices.
