Key Responsibilities
- Support the Production Manager in planning and scheduling production activities.
- Monitor workflow, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure smooth operations.
- Supervise assembly teams to meet production targets and timelines.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff for skill and performance improvement.
- Conduct quality checks on parts and finished products to meet company standards.
- Coordinate with material handling teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
- Enforce safety policies and maintain a secure work environment.
- Implement process improvements (e.g., Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing) to boost efficiency.
- Prepare daily production reports on output, yield, and efficiency metrics.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.
- 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and ERP systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
- Solid leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001 & 14001 standards.
- Membership in a professional engineering body is an added advantage.
