Business Development Officer Opportunity – Join a Global Network

The Institute of Internal Auditors Kenya (IIA Kenya) is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Officer to champion growth, strengthen partnerships, and expand organizational impact.

  • Location: Nairobi
  • Job Type: Contractual
  • Reports To: CEO

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth in specialized trainings and consultancy services.
  • Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies for sustainable growth.
  • Secure sponsorships and foster long-term collaborations.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with clients, members, and partners.
  • Conduct market research and propose viable business ventures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in membership organizations or a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation, cross-selling, client engagement, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Membership in a relevant professional body.
