Progressive Credit is seeking a highly motivated and target-driven Debt Recovery Officer – Mobile Money to join its team.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers through calls, SMS, and other channels to follow up on overdue mobile loan repayments.
- Negotiate repayment schedules in line with company policies.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets.
- Escalate problematic accounts to the supervisor where necessary.
- Educate customers on loan terms, repayment obligations, and consequences of defaulting.
- Ensure compliance with data protection, confidentiality, and regulatory standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Business, Finance, Customer Service, or a related field.
- 1–3 years’ experience in debt recovery and credit management.
- Experience in mobile loans or digital lending platforms is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- High integrity, self-motivated, and target-driven.
