Job objective

Summer Flowers is a flower division within AAA Growers. At Summer Flowers, we produce high quality Summer Flowers for export. We supply a wide assortment of Summer Flowers all over the world everyday fresh. Quality is our key deliverable, and a happy customer is our main goal. As a HOS – Irrigation & crop Protection, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all irrigation and crop protection activities within the Summer Flowers Division. The role focuses on ensuring optimum crop health, efficient water and fertilizer utilization, effective pest and disease management, compliance with quality standards, and achievement of production targets while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, environmental stewardship, and certification compliance. Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop and implement irrigation, fertigation, and crop protection programs.
  • Monitor pest and disease levels and coordinate timely interventions.
  • Analyze scouting data and recommend appropriate control measures.
  • Supervise irrigation and spray teams to ensure efficient execution of activities.
  • Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and operation of irrigation and spray equipment.
  • Monitor water usage, fertilizer application, and crop protection effectiveness.
  • Enforce compliance with health, safety, environmental, and certification standards.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and reports.

Your profile

  • Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Crop Protection, Agronomy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in crop protection and irrigation management in a commercial horticultural farm, preferably summer flowers.
  • Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, fertigation, crop protection products, and Integrated
  • Pest Management (IPM).
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
