Job Overview

Safari Park Hotel & Casino is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join its Sales & Marketing team. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, expanding the customer base, strengthening client relationships, and promoting the hotel’s hospitality services both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and market the hotel’s tourist and guest facilities in Kenya and international markets.
• Manage day-to-day direct sales activities within assigned customer segments and territories.
• Identify, develop, and maintain new business opportunities and customer relationships.
• Conduct regular sales calls and collect customer feedback and market intelligence.
• Monitor competitors’ products, pricing, promotions, and market activities to maintain the hotel’s competitive advantage.
• Represent the hotel through networking events, public relations activities, industry functions, and familiarization trips.
• Attend relevant business and social events, including evenings and weekends when required.

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Professional qualifications in Sales and Marketing.
• At least 5 years’ experience in sales within the tourism and hospitality industry.
• Experience working with international markets, Government institutions, or UN agencies will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent business development and relationship management abilities.
• Self-driven, outgoing, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong business acumen with excellent problem-solving skills.
