Kenya Trade Network Agency (KenTrade)

Kenya Trade Network Agency (KenTrade) is a State Corporation under the National Treasury mandated to establish, manage, and implement the National Electronic Single Window System (Kenya TradeNet System), Kenya’s digital platform for trade facilitation. The Agency simplifies and automates cross-border trade processes by providing a single electronic entry point for importers, exporters, clearing agents, shipping companies, government agencies, and other stakeholders to submit trade documentation, obtain approvals, and make electronic payments. Headquartered in Nairobi with regional offices in Mombasa, Malaba, Busia, Namanga, and Isebania, KenTrade plays a critical role in improving Kenya’s ease of doing business, reducing trade costs, enhancing transparency, and increasing the country’s global competitiveness. The Agency is ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001 certified and works closely with government institutions, development partners, and the private sector to modernize trade and logistics services.
