The role involves analysing service impact, evaluating risks, facilitating stakeholder engagement and coordinating change activities to ensure successful implementation. The ideal candidate will have experience in the telecoms industry, with a solid understanding of Change Management processes, risk assessment and the management of both internal and external network changes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Change Management meetings, including Change Advisory Board (CAB) and operational review meetings, while providing guidance and support to stakeholders on change-related matters

  • Act as the primary interface between clients, suppliers and internal technical teams for planned and emergency activities, ensuring timely communication and high levels of client satisfaction
  • Manage multiple concurrent changes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring minimal service disruption and providing flexibility to support out-of-hours and weekend activities when required
  • Maintain accurate change records, support audits and data-quality initiatives, prepare reports and promptly escalate risks, issues and exceptions to the Change Manager as required
  • Drive continuous improvement within Change Management by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, improve efficiency, strengthen governance and promote proactive risk management

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or an equivalent qualification gained through relevant work experience.

Experience & Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years in telecom, focusing on Change Management or similar roles, suggesting familiarity with industry-specific change management processes and workflows
  • Knowledge of key telecom technologies and platforms, including Fibre, DWDM, OTN, SDH, and networking technologies like Ethernet and IP/MPLS, indicating a solid foundation in telecom infrastructure
  • Expert knowledge in at least one CRM system, with a preference for experience in NetSuite. This points to familiarity with client relationship management software to enhance customer service and business operations
