Electrical Technician at Kenchic Limited

Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Execute electrical repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical machinery and provide diagnostic support.
• Repair electrical and electronic equipment following breakdowns.
• Complete assigned job cards and work orders within set timelines.
• Carry out maintenance in line with established procedures.
• Support achievement of agreed Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) targets.
• Maintain a safe working environment and support statutory, regulatory and safety compliance.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years experience as an Electrical Technician in plant operations, including 1 year in an FMCG environment.
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Teamwork, analytical and problem-solving ability, attention to detail, communication skills, planning and organisation, and flexibility.

ADDED ADVANTAGE:

• Ability to drive and possession of a valid driving licence will be an added advantage.

PLEASE NOTE:

• The successful candidate may be required to work in shifts and/or over weekends depending on operational requirements.
