Job Description
Job Purpose:
Execution of the bank’s foreign exchange business strategy by entering into foreign exchange dealings with designated clients and collaborating with the business teams to grow foreign exchange income.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate designated clients calls for a first-hand understanding of their foreign exchange requirement patterns and plans.
- Execute foreign exchange deals with designated clients, as mandated by the bank.
- Ensure prompt generation and release of deal tickets to the respective stakeholders.
- Track foreign exchange transactions volumes and income to evaluate and monitor foreign exchange business performance progress.
- Coordinate visits to designated clients and circulate the call-visits reports for action by relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and assess real-time both deal specific and cumulative foreign exchange exposure build up to ensure strict compliance with the internal and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare and circulate foreign exchange rates for use by the bank branch staff while ensuring strict compliance with thebank’s mark-up policy.
- Ensure all known transactions are posted onto the blotter for ease of reconciliation with iMAL.
- Ensure strict adherence to the Kenya FX Code and all other relevant internal policy guidelines.

Education Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate in a business-related field.
- ACI – the Financial Market Association Certificate
- Dealership in Foreign Exchange
- Knowledge of the Kenya Foreign Exchange Code
