Job Description
Purpose
To implement efficient staff utilization that meets safe aircraft maintenance and operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Controlling daily allocation of Engineers and Technicians to ensure optimum utilization of manpower.
- Managing manpower deviations caused by schedule interruptions.
- Coordinate with Technical Planning and production areas to ensure manpower requirements are met to support the network and maintenance requirements.
- Monitor and manage leave, sick-offs, trainings, and No-shows.
- Record statistics and monitor overtime levels
- Coordinate with production areas for all maintenance operations and training requirements.
- Recommend amendments of procedures and practices to improve performance in a cost-effective manner.
- Ensure Maintenance operation activities and communication regarding resources scheduling is coordinated via the maintenance control.
- Minimize schedule disruptions due to absenteeism and/or late reporting.
- Embrace and maintain a healthy, safe and secure working environment in compliance with company procedures, regulatory authorities and requirements of customer airlines.

Qualifications
- University graduate or Diploma in relevant field.
- Five (5) years’ experience in airline –operational areas
- Experience in the fields related to Resource Management and Scheduling is an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of KCAA/EASA Rules and Regulations
- Knowledge in Systematic documentation of project reports/systems and processes
- IT Proficiency- Database MS-Access, Spreadsheet MS-Excel, Word Processing MS-Word, Computer Graphics MS-PowerPoint, Project Management MS-Projects.
