Job Purpose:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the Group Talent Acquisition function by identifying, attracting, assessing, and engaging high-quality talent across the Group. The role will have a strong focus on talent sourcing, market mapping, candidate research, recruitment analytics, and building talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements.
The role requires a commercially minded recruitment professional with experience gained in a recruitment consultancy, executive search firm, or a similarly fast-paced in-house talent acquisition environment. The successful candidate should be highly skilled in direct sourcing, candidate research, LinkedIn and other digital sourcing tools, market intelligence, and the use of data to improve recruitment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Building
- Proactively source and engage suitable candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, professional networks, referrals, and other relevant channels.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs across the Group.
- Identify and approach passive candidates, particularly for specialist, technical, and management roles.
- Conduct market mapping and research to identify talent from relevant industries and competitor organisations.
Candidate Research & Engagement
- Review and screen candidate profiles against agreed role requirements.
- Conduct initial conversations with candidates to understand their experience, interest, availability, and suitability.
- Prepare candidate longlists, shortlists, and profiles to support recruitment decisions.
- Support the recruitment of senior and hard-to-fill positions through targeted research and direct sourcing.
Talent Acquisition Analytics
- Maintain accurate recruitment data and regularly track key recruitment metrics.
- Prepare recruitment reports and dashboards covering areas such as vacancy status, time to fill, source effectiveness, pipeline conversion, and other key trends.
- Analyse recruitment data and provide practical insights to help improve sourcing strategies and recruitment outcomes.
Stakeholder & Process Support
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager, Group, Business Unit HR teams, and hiring managers to understand hiring requirements and agree on sourcing approaches.
- Support the smooth coordination of recruitment assignments and ensure timely follow-up with candidates and stakeholders.
- Contribute ideas and improvements to strengthen recruitment processes, tools, technology, and candidate experience.
- Support the effective use of LinkedIn Recruiter, AI tools, and other approved Talent Acquisition platforms.
