Job Description
The Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and unemployed Kenyan graduates for its 2026 Youth Internship Programme.
The programme is designed to provide young graduates with practical work experience, professional skills, and exposure to the financial sector and other related fields.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the KDIC Youth Internship Programme, applicants must:
- Be unemployed Kenyan graduates from recognized training institutions.
- Have completed their degree or diploma programme within the last three years.
- Have no previous work experience related to their area of study.
- Be graduates of a recognized degree or diploma programme.
- Not have retired or exited from formal employment.
- Not have previously benefited from a similar internship programme.
Internship Duration
- Successful candidates will be placed in the respective departments for a non-renewable period of 12 months (one year).
Documents Required During Vetting/Interviews
Shortlisted applicants will be required to present:
- Degree/Diploma certificate or academic transcripts as proof of graduation.
- National Identification Card.
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
Requirements for Successful Candidates
Successful interns will be required to have or obtain:
- Valid personal medical insurance cover through SHIF or another reputable medical insurance provider.
- Registration with NSSF for social security purposes.
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
- Personal accident insurance covering the duration of the internship.
- Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) PIN.
