Role Requirements
- The successful candidate will be a qualified Chartered or Certified Accountant with strong experience in financial management, internal controls, risk management and financial reporting.
- They will bring the ability to analyse complex financial information, identify risks or weaknesses, and work with colleagues to agree practical and proportionate solutions.
- This role requires someone who can provide clear technical advice and operational support to country teams, often in changing or pressured contexts, and who is confident working across cultures and building trusted relationships with finance and programme colleagues.
- Strong communication, judgement, problem-solving skills and flexibility are essential, along with the ability to travel regularly and adapt to different country programme needs.
- The candidate should also bring integrity, resilience, a collaborative approach and a strong commitment to Trócaire’s ethos and values.
