About Candidate
I currently serve as Application Developer and Integrations Engineer at Stima Sacco Society Ltd, where I
design, build and maintain the in-house API integration server that connects our core banking system
(Profits) and Microsoft Dynamics Navision with mobile, web and third-party platforms. My integration
portfolio includes M-Pesa Daraja (STK Push, C2B, B2C), PesaLink/IPSL ISO 20022 bank transfers, KRA
GavaConnect PIN verification, IPRS identity checks and Safaricom IMSI-swap anti-fraud services. Building
and supporting these integrations in-house, rather than through vendors, has directly reduced licensing
and maintenance costs for my organization — an approach I would bring to the cost-containment and
value-for-money objectives of your ICT budget.
Beyond integration, my work regularly spans the full remit of this role: system design and architecture
(including a multi-tier WhatsApp-native banking architecture and FHIR-based hospital integration
environments I have documented), API and SQL-based data validation, and full-stack delivery using
Python/Django, Flutter and Redis/Celery. I have led vendor collaboration, mentored junior developers,
and worked cross-functionally with operations and business stakeholders to troubleshoot production
issues end-to-end — from root-cause analysis through to release. I also bring direct exposure to
healthcare interoperability standards, including FHIR R4, HL7v2 and SMART on FHIR, which I believe will
be valuable in shaping HMIS integration and compliance work at The Nairobi Hospital.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Systems from Kenya Methodist University and a
Diploma in Computer Science from Kisumu Polytechnic, and I am comfortable operating in Linux and
Windows server environments, managing code deployment, and maintaining data security and
compliance standards in regulated financial and, I am eager to learn, healthcare settings.
