During my accounting attachment at KenGen, I gained valuable hands-on experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, invoice verification, taxation, inventory management, cash flow preparation, and internal control procedures. I utilized accounting systems and Microsoft Excel to accurately record, organize, and analyze financial data. I also assisted in preparing company returns and maintaining financial records while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and proper documentation.
