Job Overview

Kilimall Kenya is seeking a highly motivated Business Developer to drive growth within its Maternity, Baby, and Toys category. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing strategic partnerships, supporting sellers, and implementing initiatives that increase category performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with maternity, baby, and toy brands within the Kenyan market.
• Identify, recruit, onboard, and nurture high-potential sellers to grow the category.
• Design and implement growth strategies that improve seller performance and increase sales.
• Provide continuous training, operational support, and business guidance to sellers.
• Manage the complete seller lifecycle, from acquisition and onboarding to growth and retention.
• Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for category expansion.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the maternity & baby industry, e-commerce, or retail.
• Strong understanding of the Kenyan market and consumer behavior.
• Experience in business development or operations will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
