Job Description
Job Purpose:
A Full-Stack Developer with expertise in Flutter, Next.js, Go and Python to design, build, and maintain end-to-end applications spanning cross-platform mobile development, modern web interfaces, and scalable backend services, delivering reliable, high-performance solutions that support Britam’s business goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter.
- Build responsive, high-performance web applications using Next.js.
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs using NestJS, Go, and Python.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs to connect mobile, web, and backend systems.
- Contribute to system architecture, database design, and infrastructure decisions.
- Write clean, testable code and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Debug and resolve issues across the stack in development and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver features, and support CI/CD and release processes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement in workflows and code quality.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional full stack development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart for cross-platform mobile development.
- Hands-on experience building web applications with Next.js and React.
- Solid experience developing backend services and APIs with NestJS, Go, and Python.
- Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
