Job Description
HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENT (HSE) OFFICER
Biometrics Technology Limited is seeking a dedicated HSE Officer to champion workplace safety and environmental compliance across our oil & gas projects. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to regulatory standards, promote a culture of safety, and drive continuous improvement in HSE practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide HSE training and awareness programs for staff and contractors.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety and environmental considerations into operations.
- Prepare and submit HSE reports to management and regulatory bodies.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), Environment, or Safety.
- Professional License: DOSH, NEMA, NEBOSH, or internationally recognized equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE management within oil & gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations, risk management, and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
