The Servicing Officer is responsible for supporting the administration and ongoing servicing of Group Life and Credit Life schemes. This includes managing policy data, handling member movements, processing endorsements, and ensuring timely documentation. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and a seamless client experience through effective coordination with internal teams and external partners.

1. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process policy servicing transactions including member additions, deletions, benefit amendments, and other scheme endorsements
  • Maintain accurate member and policy records within the administration system and ensure data integrity
  • Generate and issue policy documentation including certificates, schedules, debit notes, and related correspondence
  • Reconcile member and premium data to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems and records
  • Respond to servicing enquiries from clients, brokers, and intermediaries within agreed service levels
  • Support scheme onboarding, renewals, and ongoing policy administration activities
  • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, finance, and other stakeholders to resolve servicing issues and support operational efficiency
  • Prepare servicing reports and monitor outstanding actions, endorsements, and service performance indicators
  • Maintain complete and audit-ready records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, Data Protection, and other applicable regulatory and internal requirements while safeguarding customer information

  • Familiarity with policy administration systems and Excel

3. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • 1–2 years’ experience in insurance operations
  • Familiarity with life insurance products and systems

4. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related business field
  • Progress towards Professional insurance qualification (e.g., AIIK, ACII, LOMA)
