About the role
Burn is dfor a highly analytical and detail-oriented R&D Lab Analyst Intern to support product testing, data analysis, and laboratory operations within the Research & Development team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct lab tests on current BURN products, products in the R&D pipeline, competitors’ products, and new cookstove fuel performance, documenting and analyzing the results.
- Assist in field data collection and product monitoring activities.
- Manage datasets of test results.
- Assist in maintaining and refining testing methodologies, safety protocols, procedures, etc.
- Ensure that all safety guidelines and 5S are always followed strictly and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
- Maintain lab equipment and assist in keeping inventories of laboratory supplies.
- Assist in preparation of stove demos.
- Other activities as needed.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a physical science field.
- Experience working in a lab testing environment.
- Experience in managing data and interacting with Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong mindset for continuous improvement.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, punctual, and professional.
- Proactive attitude and takes initiative in problem-solving.
