Branch Chef (Upcoming Branch)
CJ’s Restaurant is seeking an experienced and passionate Branch Chef to lead kitchen operations at its upcoming branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring culinary excellence, maintaining food safety standards, managing kitchen teams, and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Kitchen Leadership: Manage daily kitchen operations, control food and labour costs, and oversee staff scheduling.
- Culinary Excellence: Prepare high-quality meals, develop and implement new menu offerings, and oversee food production while minimizing waste.
- Safety & Standards: Enforce strict hygiene practices, maintain equipment cleanliness, and ensure daily HACCP compliance.
- Team Development: Train, supervise, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior culinary leadership role.
- Passionate, creative, and innovative with the ability to develop exceptional menus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, flexible, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
