Job Description

Classic Mouldings has been working on interiors in Kenya since 1991 — homes, hospitality projects, and commercial spaces. We’re looking for someone who wants to learn the trade on real sites, alongside experienced surveyors and project managers.

This isn’t entirely a desk job. You’ll be taking measurements, working on live projects, and building the skills that matter.

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates
  • Take site measurements and track material usage
  • Prepare quotations and process subcontractor payments
  • Monitor project costs and track variations
  • Ensure projects stay within approved budgets
  • Liaise with suppliers, site teams, and clients
  • Read and interpret architectural and technical drawings

What we’re looking for:

  • Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Construction, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction projects
  • Experience in interior fit-out, joinery, or finishing works — strong advantage
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to read technical and architectural drawings
  • Honesty, organisation, and the ability to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
