Job Description

Orient Construction is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to manage the contractual and financial aspects of structural and interior fit-out projects, ensuring effective cost control, timely delivery, quality compliance, and value for money.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, cost plans, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Manage procurement, tendering, contractor evaluation, and supplier selection.
• Manage construction and interior fit-out contracts, variations, and claims.
• Monitor project expenditure, certify interim payments, and prepare financial reports.
• Prepare and agree on final accounts with relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct value engineering and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Identify and mitigate potential cost risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional membership with IQSK, BORAQS, or a relevant professional body.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in quantity surveying.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
