Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • The interns will be trained on Nutrition research methodologies, including study design, data collection techniques such as dietary assessments and anthropometry, and ethical considerations in human research.
  • The interns will be trained on Data management and analysis, including data entry, cleaning, basic statistical analysis, interpretation and presentation of nutrition data, and use of digital field data collection tools.
  • The interns will be trained on Community nutrition and public health programming, including planning and implementing nutrition interventions, delivering targeted nutrition education, and monitoring and evaluating nutrition programs
  • The interns will be trained on Nutrition surveillance and policy, including understanding Kenya’s key nutrition guidelines, using nutrition indicators for decision-making, and the role of surveillance systems in health and nutrition
  • The interns will be trained on Organizing meetings, workshops, and field activities.
  • The interns will be trained on Any other duties as assigned to support project operations.

Qualifications

  • Good team player Mandatory
  • Presentation skills Mandatory
  • Must have graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Mandatory
  • Be a Kenyan youth below 30 years of age Mandatory
  • Analytical and report writing skills Mandatory
