Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Equipment Coordinator to be responsible for managing and optimising container flows, delivering operational excellence in the lifecycle management of our assets so we can deliver on the promise to our customers in the most cost-efficient way.

They will also be responsible for professional stream including those who are individual contributors with main emphasis on applying technical/discipline knowledge rather than managing people to achieve results – although coaching/mentoring less experienced staff, informal supervisory responsibilities, or overseeing work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and program are common. This role reports into Area E&E Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Build Equipment Flow strategy based on import/export flows
  • Drive equipment cost-saving initiatives
  • Engage stakeholders across organization
  • Manage supply/evacuation of equipment
  • Align regional stock levels with HQ targets
  • Lead equipment-related projects in the region
  • Ensure inventory meets export booking forecasts
  • Collaborate with vendors and EMR for service quality
  • Reduce dwell and long-standing inventory
  • Ensure data accuracy and reporting
  • Coordinate central equipment initiatives
  • Deliver high customer experience
  • Plan positioning based on market demand
  • Operate in terminals where depots are unavailable
